MATHS AND SCIENCE

On 27th October 2017, Year 7/8 students went to the Melbourne Museum and IMAX. Students watched a 3D movie named “A Beautiful Planet” at IMAX and viewed various galleries in the museum afterwards. This excursion helped students to understand the scientific concepts of human body systems (anatomy and physiology of the human body and brain) and geology of Earth in detail. The excursion was a positive educational experience and students got a lot of valuable knowledge about the topics they are studying this term. Thanks to all the students who attended, for behaving and making this experience enjoyable for all. Following is some feedback from the students about the excursion.

The Melbourne Museum and IMAX excursion was an epic experience. We went to the IMAX and watched a 3D movie about our planet Earth, which was great. Afterwards, we went to the Museum and visited different galleries. I liked the gallery where I saw a huge dinosaur’s skeleton, lot of birds and butterflies.
